Job Descriptions
- Lead the Business Department in curriculum planning, development, and delivery, ensuring alignment with school standards and international benchmarks.
- Provide teaching plans and lesson plans; guide and tutor students who require additional support.
- Supervise and support Business teachers, providing mentorship, conducting appraisals, and facilitating professional development.
- Monitor and report on student performance, set assessments, grade work, and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, attend parent-teacher conferences, and provide performance reports.
- Coordinate departmental resources, teaching strategies, and extracurricular business-related activities (e.g., clubs, competitions, entrepreneurship projects).
- Actively participate in the school’s appraisal and professional development programs, contributing to whole-school initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Business at the high school level, with at least 2 years in a leadership/coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of IGCSE/A-Level/IB Business curriculum
- Valid teaching license preferred.
